It is natural tobacco and smells like a combination of freshly harvested golden tobacco leaves and darker pipe tobacco, a smoky note with hints of chocolate-like patchouli and a wonderfully creamy Tonka base underneath. Overall, this is a mostly linear perfume, with the creamy, toasty qualities of the tonka coming through more over time, along with some of the earthiness of the patchouli. The tobacco remains present from start to finish.
